Forrest Gump and Me

Forrest Gump:  [running]    I had run for 3 years, 2 months, 14 days, and 16 hours.
[he stops and turns around]
Young Man Running:    Quiet, quiet! He’s gonna say something!
Forrest Gump: [pause]    I’m pretty tired… I think I’ll go home now.

Feeling a little Forrest Gumpish,

Bouncing off the block I’ve hit.

Out of wisdom, wit and fancy,

Wondering if it meant a rip.

Remembering the act of doing,

Just for pleasure, purpose, need.

After 99 posts, 789 comments, 14,085 hits and 489 tags, I’ve plumb run out of things to say.  Tell me something…………has it ever happened to you?

  1. Of course it happens!
Last time I asked Faithful Viewers to suggest quotes for me; I’d take the first three and write about them.
It was fun for me, and got me out of my ditch.

Yes, I think we all hit the wall at one time or another
Its time to take some time away and refresh – refresh you thoughts and feelings and since its close to autumn – its gathering time
There is a time to reap and a time to sow
Maybe this is your reaping time – take and break and refresh
Let us know how you are doing
    God Bless

  5. I’m getting ready to celebrate my one-year anniversary on the blog–and though I’d love to take a blog-vaca, I ALWAYS have more to share. (My stats have declined, but I’m still believing I have a purpose and plan to fulfill…) God bless you BIG!

SAY IT TO ME.........I love your thoughts
